“Ribs. I Had Ribs For Lunch”

One of Polk County’s newest BBQ restaurants, Shane’s Rib Shack in Lakeside Village, will be giving away a half a rack of ribs to the first 100 customers on Saturday, May 17. The first 100 will also receive a Shane’s t-shirt and a large Coke Zero.
I have never had their ribs, but their Smothered Pork sandwich is great! Be on the lookout for another Top 5 list of BBQ restaurants in Polk County real soon. If you make the first 100, let us know how the ribs are.
On a side note, can anyone tell me what movie the headline of this post came from?

The ribs are very good. Probably my daughter’s favorite item at Shane’s.
I don’t think I can give you a top five, but I would definitely say that two of my favorites are Peebles in Auburndale and Curly Tails in Bartow.
