Family Day of the Dead Activities at Polk Museum of Art

Polk Museum of Art will host a family oriented day of activities focused on the Day of the Dead on Saturday, November 1. Three events will be held for children and families, starting at 10:30am, and two of them are free. The third event will have a $2 per child materials fee.
10:30-12:00 – Family Fun Workshop
Open to children of all ages. Create your own Day of the Dead Mask to march in our “Through the Museum, Day of the Dead Parade” FREE for everyone!
12:30-12:45 – Through the Museum, Day of the Dead Parade
Collect candy as you march the Museum to honor your ancestors and show off your new mask. FREE for everyone!
1:00-4:00 – Day of the Dead Art Workshop
Create your own Day of the Dead alter with all the traditional elements. $2 per child art supply fee.
