Visitors to Polk County can save big on area attractions and activities, restaurants, shops, accommodations, golf courses and more with the new 2012 “Passport to Adventure and Savings”
discount card, produced by the Central Florida Visitors and Convention Bureau . The free card is part of a brochure including more than 140 special offers from Polk County merchants. Local residents can take advantage of the same discounts – and recommend the card to visiting family and friends. The brochure is designed to promote local businesses and add value to a Central Florida vacation. PCTSM has produced 100,000 copies of the tourism brochure to be distributed locally, via mail and throughout the country at consumer and trade shows. Offers are valid through December 31, 2012, unless otherwise noted.
The Passport to Adventure and Savings
is now available at the Polk Outpost 27 Visitor Information Center
on Highway 27 in Davenport (½ mile south of I-4), and will be available at tourism partners and venues across Polk County including The Lakeland Center, Lakeland Linder Regional Airport, area chambers of commerce, PCTSM’s visitor information station at the entrance to LEGOLAND Florida and the Florida Sports Hall of Fame (at PCTSM’s Headquarters in the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale).
