This 21 and older event will feature an unforgettable evening filled with blues and wine at Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland on Friday, October 12. This marks the 11th annual year the museum has held the event, and this year’s festivities are sure to bring a party you won’t want to miss!

From 6:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m., guests will get the chance to participate in a wine tasting, listen to a blues concert from Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King and enjoy great food, wine and craft beers.

Featured performers Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King are veteran Texas bluesmen who bring back the classic sound of the blues music that fans of the blues are sure to appreciate.Red, White & The Blues 2012, Joe Kubek & Bnois King
According to Billboard, “The band plays hard-hitting, original blues. Kubek is one of the fiercest Texas blues guitarists…his fiery leads are complemented by King’s adroit rhythm guitar and classic vocals.” Tampa Bay blues performer Selwyn Birchwood will open the show.

Those purchasing $75.00 tickets will be admitted at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy wine tasting and craft beers, hors d’oeuvres, and Selwyn Birchwood. The main concert is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.  At this time, these ticket holders will have access to an open bar.

Concert only ticket holders ($30.00) will be admitted at 8:30 p.m., just in time for Smokin’ Joe Kubek & Bnois King, and they will have access to a cash bar.
