4th Annual Hair for Hope
Date:
Thursday, October 11
Venue:
Michael Rose Hair Designs–Lakeland
-Michael Rose Hair Designs hosts the Fourth Annual Hair for Hope to help women battling cancer.
-Participants are needed to be willing to cut at least 8 inches of their hair, which will be donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths and used to make wigs that are distributed free through The American Cancer Society wig banks nationwide to women undergoing cancer treatment.

Legends & Legacies: “Letters Home: Love Letters, Courage & Survival”

-Fantasy of Flight proudly presents Legends & Legacies: A Symposium Series honoring brave American heroes whose personal contributions became part of our country’s rich history and helped shape our society.

-The Museum’s annual wine tasting and blues concert features Texas blues artists Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King.

Zombie Paintball Hayride at CornFusion 2012
Dates:
Friday, October 12–Sunday, November 25
Venue: CornFusion Corn Maze–Lakeland
-Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., mow down zombies with paintball guns on a hayride through infected swamps, a scrapyard and a corn field at CornFusion in Lakeland.
-All materials needed to put a dent in the Zombie population will be supplied.

Bartow Antiques Fair

-The Bartow Antiques Fair takes place along Main Street in Downtown Bartow on the second Saturday of the month.

Downtown Lakeland ZombieFest

-Downtown Lakeland welcomes you to our first annual ZombieFest.
-Live music, food vendors, costume contest, pub crawl and a zombie walk are just some of the fun that’s planned.

Haines City Wellness Expo

Venue: Lake Eva Banquet Hall–Haines City
-All serious and recreational runners are invited to participate in this Annual 5K Stride for Fitness Run and Wellness Expo at Lake Eva Banquet Hall in Haines City.
-Health care agencies and organizations will be on hand from 9:00 a.m. – Noon for FREE screenings and other information.

Mad Hatter Tea Party Luncheon

-Join Cornerstone Hospice and the Ramon Theater for this fun tea party luncheon.
-Wear your funniest, wackiest or prettiest decorated hat because prizes will be awarded.

Twilight at the Ritz
