– Main Street Bartow’s Friday Fest is a free downtown block party featuring live music, vendor booths, children’s fun activities, great food, beer and other drinks.
– Also included is the Friday Fest Cruise-in Car Show with dash plaque awards for the first entrants.

Haunted Masquerade Ball
Friday, October 19
Ritz on Central, Winter Haven
– Everyone is invited to the Winter Haven Young Professional Group’s Haunted Masquerade Ball at The Ritz Theatre.
– The event will feature Howl at the Moon’s Dueling Pianos, hors d’oeuvre, drinks and dessert.

Bringing Up Bobby at The Polk Theatre

– Join The Polk Theatre for showings of first-run independent films.
– “Bringing Up Bobby” is a comedy family film rated PG-13 that was directed by Famke Janssen and stars Mila Jovovich, Bill Pullman, Marcia Cross, Rory Cochrane and Spencer List.

Lake Mirror Classic
Friday, October 19 – Sunday, October 21
Downtown Lakeland
– Now in its 13th year, the Lake Mirror Classic is considered one of the “must do” collector car shows in the southeastern United States.
– The display of more than 600 show vehicles on and surrounding the restored 1920’s, art deco-inspired Lake Mirror promenade in downtown Lakeland,  Florida provides one of the most scenic venues in the country.
–  The Lake Mirror Classic draws top car collectors from the southeast and serves as a support event to the prestigious Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

Boktoberfest Plant Sale

– Bok Tower Gardens’ celebration to kick off Florida’s gardening season featuring live entertainment, craft beers and German food is returning.
– Enjoy live entertainment, German food, craft beers, tree climbing, children’s activities, and Tom MacCubbin, Florida’s foremost expert on lawn and garden issues, will host educational workshops along with other gardening experts.

nightFlight Phase 3 at Fantasy of Flight

– Due to Apollo Paranormal Investigations’ high paranormal activity results, Fantasy of Flight has invited the general public to nightFlight, an exciting after-hours program that offers adventurous visitors four full hours to “Explore the Unexplained.”

Polk State College’s Annual FallFest
