Cupcake Contest
New to the event this month is the 1st Annual Fancy Flea Cupcake Contest presented by Today & Tonight Magazine. Cupcake contestants will bring 12 presentable cupcakes to submit for judging, and judges will then determine the winner based on criteria including: icing/frosting, flavor and texture and presentation/creativity.
Contestants are also asked to bring additional cupcakes to share with the public, and the more cupcakes they bring, the better because a ”People’s Choice Award” will be presented after the official judging. The more people that a participant gets to taste their entry, the better chance they have of walking away with the trophy. The audience will be allowed to taste the entries on a first come, first serve basis.
The Grand Prize winner of the overall competition will not only receiving bragging rights and the cupcake trophy, but will also enjoy “fame and fortune as a true baking diva” with special coverage in Today & Tonight Magazine.
The Cupcake Contest will take place Saturday, November 3 between 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. There is a $10 fee for participants to register. The audience is free to watch.
