Recording artist George Hamilton IV will be a featured performer at Lundyville Music Hall in Auburndale on Wednesday, February 13.
- Hamilton had 23 top ten hits on the U.S. and Canadian charts from 1959 to 1974 including his number one single “Abilene” and other hits such as “Early Morning Rain”, “Dirty old Man”, “A Rose and a Baby Ruth”, “Break my Mind”, and Hamilton’s Acoustic Gospel album “Blue Ridge Sunday” attained the best Blue Grass Record of the Year in 2004.

Tram Nature Tour

- Take a free personalized tour of the Banana Creek Marsh with a volunteer guide who will point out plants, birds and history of the property.
- Tours require sign-up, and sign-up begins the first working day of each month at Circle B Bar Reserve.

Guided Bird Hike

- This 2.5 mile walking birding tour at Circle B Bar Reserve will take you through the Marsh Rabbit Run Trail and on to Wading Bird Way Trail.

Main Street Bartow’s Friday Fest

- This downtown Bartow block party features live music, vendor booths, children’s fun activities, great food, beer and other drinks monthly along with Cruise-in Car Show and Thunder on Main motorcycle event.

Voices of Liberty in Concert

- This concert will be held at Landmark Christian School in Haines City and will feature the a cappella group, Voices of Liberty, from Walt Disney World’s Epcot Theme Park.

Ritz Theatre Black History Month

Ritz Theatre, Winter Haven
- The Ritz Theatre has dedicated Friday, Feb 1, 8, and 15 and Saturday, February 16 to awareness of the significance of Black History as it relates to art  in the form of music, paintings, drawings, readings, rhymes and poetry.

Strawberry Cluster Dog Show

Sun ‘N Fun, Lakeland
- This all-breed dog show is sponsored by the Lakeland Winter Haven Kennel Club and Sara-Bay Kennel Club and will be held over four days in Lakeland.

6th Annual Spring Training Kick-Off Celebration

Polk Outpost 27, Davenport
- Polk County’s official visitor information center, Polk Outpost 27, will help visitors welcome the spring training season this year with the sixth annual Spring Training Kick-off event which includes: a bounce house, vendors, games, movies and more.

Black Heritage Festival

Medulla Resource Center, Lakeland
- Celebrate Black History Month with free activities that include live entertainment, vendors, and more presented by Polk County Parks and Recreation.

Brewz Crewz Craft Beer Festival
Date: Saturday, February 16

Lakeland
- This year’s event, the 4th Annual Brewz Crewz Craft Beer Festival, boasts 75 beers, food from 20 restaurants and a beefed up VIP experience that allows VIPs a 5:00 p.m. entry to a secluded seating area, wines, fine foods & private restrooms.

Mulberry Farmers’ Market

Magnify Credit Union, Mulberry
- This farmers market occurs the third Saturday of each month and includes fresh produce, vendors and live entertainment.

Polk County Cattleman’s Ranch Rodeo & Trade Show

Bartow
- The 8th Annual Polk County Cattlemen’s Ranch Rodeo and Trade Show is an exciting competition of cowboys and cowgirls showcasing their ranching skills in different rodeo events including: Calf Branding, Double Mugging, Team Sorting, Wild Cow Milking, Colt Riding, and “Senior Sorting”.
- The Trade Show, sponsored by the UF/IFAS Extension Service, will feature exhibitors showing off the latest and greatest in the livestock industry.
