The Lennon Sisters

– As America’s Sweethearts of Song, The Lennon Sisters have been singing together and sharing a stage with virtually every top star of the last fifty years, and the Lennon Sisters are still singing harmonies straight from their heart as they celebrate their 50th anniversary at The Lakeland Center.

RussMatt Central Florida Baseball Invitational
Dates:
Monday, February 18 – Thursday, April 4
Venue:
Baseball venues throughout Polk
- The RussMatt Central Florida Baseball Invitational will be held at The Lake Myrtle Sports Park, the Chain of Lakes Baseball Complex, and various other baseball fields around the county and features over 200 colleges annually in all divisions (NCAA D I, II, III, NAIA and JUCO), more college teams than all other Florida spring break tournaments combined come to Polk County area for this tournament!

ISO “Pacific Rhythms”

– The ISO 2012-2013 Masterworks Series “Symphonic World Tour” is designed to take the audience on a musical journey around the globe, and the fourth stop, “Pacific Rhythms”, features guest soloists: winners of the ISO Young Artist Competition. Get ready to island hop around the Pacific at the February Masterworks 4 performance.

Fiddler on the Roof

– Relive the tradition as Fiddler on the Roof, the magical Broadway musical filled with a rousing, heart-warming score, including “Tradition,” “Matchmaker,” “If I were a Rich Man” and “Sunrise, Sunset”,  comes to The Lakeland Center on Friday, February 15.

Major League Scramble

Cleveland Heights Golf Course, Lakeland

Vienna Boys Choir

– The world’s most beloved boys choir has been thrilling audiences for over 500 years, and these unforgettable singers between the ages of 10 and 14 years old continue to perform their angelic vocals around the globe.

– This musical is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in a new age for women and is based on the hit movie and features Dolly Parton’s original hit title son, along with her Tony Award and Grammy-nominated score.

Light Up the Night 5K
Date: Friday, February 22
Venue:
Central Park, Winter Haven
– Come run, jog or walk a 5k through Downtown Winter Haven with coworkers, colleagues, family and friends while you light up the night with you glow and join the Junior League of Greater Winter Haven.
– Live music and food truck rally to follow the run. You aren’t going to want to miss this.

Ribs on the Ridge
Date: Friday, February 22 – Saturday, February 23
Venue:
Lake Eva Park, Haines City
– The 5th Annual Ribs on the Ridge takes place at Lake Eva Park in Haines City on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23, and this growing event has been the Florida BBQ Association’s largest competition for the past two years with approximately 100 teams competing.

Boy Scout Camporee: American Heritage Merit Badge
Dates: Friday, February 22 – Sunday, February 24

Fantasy of Flight, Polk City
– The weekend presents an unforgettable unique opportunity for Scouts to earn their American Heritage Merit badge a midst one of the world’s most impressive private aircraft collections, including 40 rare and vintage aircraft, many of which have been restored to flying condition.

St. Sophia Greek Festival

– Enjoy a taste of Greek culture in Winter Haven at St. Sophia’s Church with the weekend-long festival that offers Greek music and dance, cuisine, youth activities, and dance lessons and much more.

Bone Valley Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show

First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland
– The Bone Valley Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show will feature hourly door prizes, a spin and win game, kids treasure dig, demonstrations and educational displays, along with silent and Chinese auctions.
– Local scout troops will be onsite with refreshments and Girl Scout cookies.

Healing Heroes Freedom Fest

Sun ‘N Fun, Lakeland
– Come out and enjoy cars, bikes, food and music when you support our wounded Veterans at the Healing Heroes Freedom Fest and Food Truck Rally.
– Ryan Hurst of FX’s Sons of Anarchy is the special celebrity guest, and you can enter online for a chance to be a VIP and meet Ryan.

Lake Region Audubon Hike

– Lake Region Audubon Society offers free periodic bird hikes at Circle B Bar Reserve led by the Bird Club.

Lake Wales Car Show

– Stroll and admire the cool antique, custom and classic cars of yesteryear while enjoying music, enchanting shops, and the unique restaurants of charming downtown Lake Wales.

Polk Senior Games 2013

Saturday, February 23 – Monday, March 11
Venue:
Polk County
– The Polk Senior Games is two weeks of athletic and recreational competitive events for men and women 50 and years and over.

Tram Nature Tour
Date: Saturday, February 23; Sunday, February 24
Venue:
Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
– Take a free personalized tour of the Banana Creek Marsh with a volunteer guide who will point out plants, birds and history of the property.
– Tours require sign-up, and sign-up begins the first working day of each month at Circle B Bar Reserve.
