Detroit Tigers vs. Atlanta Braves

-The 2013 spring season marks the Tigers 77th season at Tiger Town in Lakeland, extending the longest-standing relationship between a major league team and a current Spring Training host city, and this spring season marks the club’s 48th consecutive season of exhibition play at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Birds, Butterflies, Wildflowers Tour

Venue: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland
- Take a personalized tour of the Banana Creek Marsh with a volunteer guide who will point out plants, birds and history of the property at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland.

CAL Presents: Beatles Rubber Sole-Revolver

The Lakeland Center
- Classic Albums Live returns to The Lakeland Center’s Youkey Theatre for another note-for-note recreation of The Beatles’ Revolver and Rubber Soul, featuring such legendary tracks as “Eleanor Rigby”, “Yellow Submarine”, “In My Life”, and more.

Florida Jets

Paradise Field, Lakeland
- Come out to Paradise Field in Lakeland for non-stop action radio-controlled aircraft fun for the entire family, and check out the over 300 RC jets, eight flight lanes, RC jet manufacturer exhibits and demos daily.

First Friday Art Walk

- Bring the family out to explore art at the exploration tent at Frostproof Art League and Gallery’s First Friday Art Walk.
- This is your opportunity to sample art media and find your creative side, and the art will also feature kid’s sidewalk art.

First Friday Downtown Lakeland

Munn Park, Lakeland
- Every month, on the first Friday of the month, people from all over converge in Downtown Lakeland for an evening of free family-friendly entertainment, activities, live music, art receptions, a car show, and, of course, the chance to check out a great, locally-owned restaurant or retail establishment.
- Each month, First Friday has a different theme, and special activities are provided to complement the theme.

Moonlight Carillon Concert

Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- Enjoy an hour-long carillon concert under the light of a full moon with the scent of citrus blossoms in the air as visitors are invited to explore the Gardens by the moonlight, stars and 100 flambeaux illuminating the pathways as well as relax on one of the many benches located along the paths while listening to the evening’s performance.

3rd Annual Original Florida Highwaymen Extravaganza

Davenport
- Dine in an intimate setting with one of the Original Florida Highwaymen artist, and bid on an original art work by nine of the original artists.
- Saturday’s free art show in the City of Davenport will offer original art, prints, gifts and conversations with each of the artists in attendance.

19th Annual Central Florida Dance Performance

- Florida Dance Arts presents the 19th Annual Central Florida Dance Celebration on March 1-2, 2013, and the two days of master classes culminate with a collaborative theatre production of diverse choreography and dance styles performed by some of Florida’s most talented dance students.

2013 Orange Cup Regatta

Lake Hollingsworth, Lakeland
- The Open Invitational American Power Boat Association and The Central Florida Racing Club #208 Region 5, have partnered with the City of Lakeland and Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing to host this annual boat racing event featuring thirteen different classes of race boats competing on the “Lake of Records”.
