Polk Museum of Art has a new toy in its lobby – an Art-O-Mat! It’s an old cigarette machine that has been refurbished to vend original pieces of art for $5 each (+ tax). This is one of three Art-O-Mats in the state. The other two are in Miami.

The Polk Museum of Art just announced their new summer hours that will start on June 8 and run through August 31. Polk Museum of Art has two great glass pieces by internationally known master glass artist Dale Chihuly on display in its lobby. The pieces were recently purchased by the Museum through its Art Resource Trust, a group of Museum supporters whose sole purpose is to purchase great pieces of art for the Museum’s Permanent Collection.
